I just cleaned out my MP3 collection
I deleted a bunch of albums I either haven't listened to in years, have because my wife wanted them, or never listened to in the first place. It shaved off about 5 gigs off my MP3 collection.
The victims:
Static-X
Alanis Morrisette
Death Cab For Cutie
Final Fantasy X-2 Sountrack
Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack
The Ataris
Limp Bizkit
Dishwalla
Sponge
Shawn Mullens
Disturbed
Hole
Eels
Thursday
Powerman 5000
A Perfect Circle
Drowning Pool
AFI
Cold
Coldplay
Garbage
Hoobastank
Jerry Cantrell
Matchbox 20
OK Go
No Doubt
Powderfinger
Staind
The Living End
The Nixons
Underoath
Unwritten Law
Three Days Grace
I'm mostly glad to be rid of them. Some of those albums were long overdue for destruction.

I take it these weren't paid downloads, then
Most of that I can understand, but you got rid of The Eels?

Good lord, no. I don't pay for digital music. No, I'd say 85% of those were from CD's I have laying around the house.DaMadFiddler wrote:I take it these weren't paid downloads, then

Most of those fine, but A Perfect Circle? Mer de Noms continues to be one of the best albums ever. Rip it again and give it another listen.

I still have Mer de Noms. I deleted Thirteenth Circle. I guess I should have been more specific on what albums I ditched. Same with Eels. I still have Beautiful Freak, but deleted Blinking Lights.not just souLLy now wrote:Most of those fine, but A Perfect Circle? Mer de Noms continues to be one of the best albums ever. Fair enough, A Thirteenth Step has it's moments though, I persevered with it and you do get more out of it eventually. Shame they split.melancholy wrote:I still have Mer de Noms. Dude I'm with those guys. THE EELS?! WTF man those albums always have a place, sure you may not listen every day or every month, but at some point you'll sit there and want to listen to beutiful freak for no apparent reason.

I tried to be nullish, I really did. Seriousness just seems to follow me everywhere, much like my hopeless bleak despair.Calavera wrote:TOO SERIOUS FOR NULL!

I just recently got into Powerman 5000 actually. I never really was a fan until I saw them live awhile back. They were really good. I ended up buying one of their albums after work the next day.
