Hacking Keyboard and Mouse

Is there any way to use a standard USB or PS2 keyboard on the Dreamcast? I saw somewhere where one guy I think hacked his USB keyboard to work with it, but is the mouse possible? I have both the mouse and keyboard for the Dreamcast, and Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 Arena are way more fun with them.

I have a feeling there are already a bunch of these sort of topics in the hardware forum.
