"Sega" sound

Post by DjB »

Hey guys, just a quick question. Would anyone have a reasonably good recording of the "Seeeegaaaaaa" sound that played over the logo at the start of one of the early sonic games? It will make a nice message tone for my phone :P Thanks.

Pretty sure you could make one using a emulator with a sound recording feature? I personally always liked the one that used to scream SEGA! I know X-men for GameGear had the screaming one.

Just download a Sonic rom and an emulator such as Gens.
I;m sure that they have the ability to record game sound.

When I ran Windows, my Ding was Artoo and my Error was "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."

A bunch of high quality MGS2 wavs for you to put on your phone.

Its pretty easy to convert those into MP3 or Realtones if you need to.

The Legend Of Zelda 'found item' da-da-da-DAH is a pretty good message alert too.

My current ringtone is THIS - nice and subdued.

Sonic's "rings lost" sound makes a decent ringtone. It's subtle enough to sound like a real ringer but still pretty distinctive.

I'm keeping the MGS "huh?" ! sound as my text alert though.

Hey Nayr, you know where I could find the voices to MGS? Specifically, I think it would be hilarious to have a ringtone with the codec sound followed by Campbell saying "Snake are you there...Snake...Snaaaakkkkeeee!" like he does when you die. :lol:

No idea outside of;

a) buying PC MGS and ripping it out of that directly

b) hooking up your console version to a PC and ripping it that way

c) finding it on some MGS fansite

:dontknow:
