some guy whom works in r zone at my work, was blathering on about how rare the elite will be someday; apprently, according to him, they're only making about 500 of them, and thus for some reason, toys r us, or at least the one I work at, isn't carrying them. I don't need an elite, I don't have an hdtv, and if the bigger hdd is gonna be sold seperatly to update the smaller one, I'll just buy one.
I've been playing my wii more than the 360 though.

Well that technically wouldn't make them free anymore, but at least I understand where the pricing is coming from.Egotistical EvilN wrote:Bundle with extra controller, play and charge, and an extra battery.
In that case, it just depends on if you want an Elite or not. The HDMI is probably the deciding factor, though about 3 years from now that big hard drive is going to be extremely useful, I'm sure.

Personally I wouldn't buy an Elite right now. The Elite systems are still experiencing the overheating issues that the regular systems are. The CPU or something was supposed to be replaced, but wasn't. I'm pretty sure Microsoft are going to issue yet another system upgrade pretty soon, that's a pretty big price to pay for something that's gonna have yet another fix released soon. I'm sure it'll just be a "fixed" Elite, but still, if you want an Elite it's probably best to wait it out.

Elite is worth everypenny, also gamefly is a great savings if you want to play the latest games but your bank isn't up to it.

I can get you a premium 360 for $310 Which comes with a HDD 20GB, a wireless
controller, 1 headset, component/rca cables.
Crackdown for about $45
Then every other item you need I can get $15% off if not more.
