Wish they would let you play demos of some of these games. I am sure there are plenty of people (including myself) who have never heard of a lot of these games. They only give you 2 tiny screenshots to see what the game looks like and generally the lame story that was printed in the manual when it was released. They could offer limited demos that would lock you out of everything but the first stage, or perhaps put a 5 minute timer on it etc.

Today, Nintendo started posting videos of the Virtual Console games on its website.Veggita2099 wrote:Wish they would let you play demos of some of these games. I kinda wish you could get a refund on points, not as in getting your money back, but say you buy a game and you don't like it. Do you think they could make it so you could get rid of that title and use the points from it toward a different game, like a trade in system? idk, there must be some reason why they can't.

Because people would only buy one game and continuously trade it in for others? I doubt Nintendo wants to sell their entire back catalog for $10Dew wrote:I kinda wish you could get a refund on points, not as in getting your money back, but say you buy a game and you don't like it. The official NES Pac-Man is pretty terrible. It was one of the 30 or so games that came with my NES when I bought it from a friend in middle school, and it wasn't much fun to play (and this from someone who likes Pac-Man).Veggita2099 wrote:U.S. releases May 14th

I beat it once...using a save state at Jacquio (I'm a dirty cheater). It wouldn't be so hard if you didn't have to replay the two hardest levels in the game every time you died. I will beat it legitimately one day...and then I can die a happy gamer.Yonke wrote:i hope i still have the patience to beat ninja gaiden..Vlad Tepes wrote:I spent my lunch today playing it...and as always...I got all the way to the last level without any trouble, and then I couldn't beat it! Is Ninja Spirit any good? I've never heard of it.

Do you move slowly like in the first Castlevania - I reckon Simon Belmont is one of the slowest characters in any action game ever. I mean - you get used to it... but everything else is so much faster...DaMadFiddler wrote:Picture Shinobi if it had been made using a tweaked out version of the Castlevania game engine. That is more or less Ninja Gaiden, and it rocks.S. Thompson wrote:Ninja Gaiden is a game I have never actually played as far as I recall... I might give it a shot.
