So I bought a Atomiswave
I recently got a semi consolized atomiswave and I"m simply loving it.
Its a damn shame most of these games never made it to Dreamcast when the Atomiswave is literally a Dreamcast in a different shape.

I don't think Lindbergh replaces Atomiswave. Sega seems to be using Lindbergh for "flagship" sorts of titles with high-end graphics (e.g. VF5, Power Smash 3), a role that I doubt Atomiswave was ever intended to play in the first place. I suspect Atomiswave is still cheaper for everybody involved as well...BILAL_XIA wrote:Isn't the atomiswave discontinued now that Sammy has Lindberg

I can't see how releasing a more powerful arcade platform would affect the Atomiswave - it was released years after the Naomi and Naomi 2, both of which were clearly technologically superior.

Ionno, Lingbergh just doesnt equal out. Price vs refinue you can make takes forever to break even. At about $3000 for the system and the game plus almost all of the games dont have a normal small cabnit. That means another $7000 for proper cabnits. Now charging $1 a game and you have 10k to make up for before you break even. Plus you gotta factor in shipping the unit.
