Well, there isn't any sound yet, so you probably won't be able to use it as a CD Player right now. Plus, even if there was sound already, it would sound really bad at 4 FPS .TseTinGFunG wrote:Nice release Blue Crab glad to see your still working on it and releasing this gem in time for xmas. Now we can use the Saturn emulator as a music cd player since I had to let go of my saturn awhile ago. Gotta burn this one out to bring back those memories.

Thanks... I'm sure there's plenty of problems like those that I was having with Lunar. I'm sure there's also problems with games using odd color formats and such.... Not everything is implemented in the video core yet, since I don't have games to test all the modes with...Smiles wrote:Very impressive, I tried Sakura Wars and Nightruth, both loaded to some extent but lots of images were missing. Keep up the great work BlueCrab.
With the title screen? If so, then yeah, that works fine now. Were you able to fix the Graphics problems you posted about earlier in Lunar Magic School?

Count me as offically impressed. If you ever go as far as to write title based video rendering system i'd be very impressed. However theres still so many graphical gltiches in the default yabause I doubt it would be worth it. I had lost faith in this project bc but, thanks for sticking with it even if its not the fullspeed warezing saturn emulator everyone wants.

Wasn't Sega going to make a Saturn boot disc for the Dreamcast back in the day before they said they were going to stop making the Dreamcast? If I'm right then I'm sure they were already working on it, meaning there's got to be a beta. Now all we need is someone working on the inside to get it to us
Don't like me or just don't like what I've said, click here.
Oh yeah, as Sonic fan's go, I would kick your ass in to next week.

I'm pretty sure that was just a really bad rumor. I somewhat doubt Sega was working on anything like that.THE#1SonicFan wrote:Wasn't Sega going to make a Saturn boot disc for the Dreamcast back in the day before they said they were going to stop making the Dreamcast? ...and even IF they would have been working on something like that (which they likely did though I highly doubt they came far due to not having any free resources nor enough time): - Do you honestly think it would be worth having some pieces of non-working code or an alpha that likely would not run much better than Yabause BUT is closed source so it couldn't be improved by anyone
Why hoping for something to happen that's likely not worth the wait - while BlueCrab and the Yabause team actually ARE working on Yabause right now ?

There actually was a new port of a GBA emu in late 2006:
