well i know i could have gotten better, but compared to my old laptop this thing is a powerhouse, and except for the graphics, it comes quite close to my desktop (x2 3800, 2 gb ram), im quite happy with the peformance so farDarconov Agentovsky wrote:MulletMan13 wrote:JellyWarrior wrote:good stuff, not as good as mine, but still a bit of alright
well it off course doesnt compare to my 19" lcd, but if you dont mind sitting a tad closer to the screen then normal, it doesnt matter at all, and the widescreen sort of compensates (besides, the DS/PSP/GBA all have sub 5" screens)APE wrote:I can't see how you can enjoy a game on a 12.1" screen.
thats why i got the black versionSuperMegatron wrote:looks like a bastardized ibook

I got a mate something similar a while back (nowhere near as good as yours) and the quality of the laptop is quite good, and yours looks more classy than his.
With regards to the screen size, just hook it up to your 19" CRT and you're fine, you could also consider using it dual screen, having MSN on your laptop and your game on your 19".

I beg to differ. My MacBook Pro is my only computer, and the only games on it are a Mac-native version of Scorch3D, and the OSX version of ScummVM.RMD wrote:People who use mac os are like people who use linux. oh no offence taken, i didnt buy this as a gaming machine, sure it payed some attention to its capacity, but its not its main purpose, it runs C&C generals and ut2k4 smooth enough, so i am happyMulletMan13 wrote:Sorry for giving you a hard time, it is very nice
and mel, i do believe the MSI S250 (older version, same styling with intel pentium M) was out before PSP
as for the macbook and playing games, i briefly considered a macbook, but the 300 euro price premium for the same class of hardware combined with the intel integrated graphics made me quickly forget about that option
oh and RMD, if not for some specific future work related software, this laptop would have been running ubuntu already... sure windows is OK, but by now i prefer Kubuntu as a general purpose desktop OS

Marvel and DC Comics called Sony and said they want their Batman Beyond and Spiderman logos back.melancholy wrote:Sony called, they want their PSP logo back.
Anyone notice that the "Play Beyond" is in the same font as Batman Beyond, and that the "Playstation 3" is in the Spiderman font?
Anyway, that laptop looks decent. A hell of a lot better than mine. I've still got an ancient Toshiba Satellite.
