Phantasy Star Online server are going to be shut down!

Sega is going to shut down the PSO servers on 31.3.07... what a sad day...
Both Dreamcast and Gamecube Versions... only Xbox PSO will remain.
I just can't believe it...

Well, it's amazing that they kept the server up for as long as they did, more then 3 years after the US server termination.

It's sad to see the servers gone. I wanted to play some Ep.3.

Oh well, back to Schthack.

That's another problem, Schthack support for Ep3 isn't complete.

I wonder if they would have enough time to get it working before the shutdown.

Schthack is the man. If only he could strike a deal with sega to make it the offical server of the game once sega pulls support.

That also gives us a little more than three months for schthack or someone else to create a fake hunters licence server. Without that, that will mean that USAv2 and JPv1 and v2 will become useless. I have faith it will be figured out.

Espically with the new droprate patch coming out for PC users( and hopefully still a bit afterwards the DC version) that makes weapons actually drop and you can find them in quests. Not to the overkill it was in GC, but makes it more reasonable to find weapons. Even with them just the PC users having the patch, if they make the room you will find them based on their path.

and of coures on a sidenote, dont forget the christmas quest is up for DCv2/pc. Get workingo for those mag cells!

Yeah, I think this'll definitely encourage schthack. I've played on that server for awhile. I've never even played PSO DC on a legit server.

All this summer I played with my GC/PC friends on a DC. I thought it was awesome.

Jesus, we all misunderstood. IF YOU HAVE THE US VERSION OF PSOV2 FOR DREAMCAST, IT'LL BE ABOUT AS GOOD AS A BAD DSNES BURN!

What the hell can we do? Isn't there a forum topic or something where people are trying to reason with Sega? Who can I contact and bitch/try to reason with?
