My main wishes have already been mentioned. Rent-a-Hero (which has been translated, but I just don't want to buy an Xbox) and Segagaga. I never felt like was missing out on that much in Napple Tale.

I think it's pretty usable. There's a very good FAQ available for it which is probably as good at explaining the scripting system as the manual. The fact is the scripting system is incredibly complex so even if you understood Japanese, it would still be hard to figure out. It just takes time, though. You have to just start with simple and direct events like "when the player is in X space, Y happens" or "when the player presses button A, Z happens." You can do a lot with those basic scripts, but eventually you'll just naturally start trying more advanced scripts and learn the ins and outs of the system through logic and trial and error.

It's okay, but not spectacular in my opinion. It's basically like a 3D Breakout with the added twist that your player can do moves like flips and wall walking between hits. Ideally, I suppose the game would give a real sense of satisfaction as you nimbly hop about the arena doing your flips and kicks while whacking the ball about and causing all sorts of visual fireworks, unfortunately I've never gotten to the level with the game. Aiming for the bricks is too hard so as you get towards the end of a round you'll just spend a lot of time just hitting the ball back and forth with the wall, which takes all the fluidity and satsifaction out of the game in my opinion. It's still worth buying, but just don't spend a lot for it. $20 or $30, I'd say.
