I figured out it was a prank after about the 2nd page of posts on ace's thread in Null, because the whole thing was just too perfect. The deal was sealed when ace called somebody a "fudging fatass" which isnt something I'd expect him to say at all.

As for the prank itself, I'd give it a 1/10. Because it was pretty predictable, and more annoying than funny.

It was kinda obvious that it was an April fool, and pretty lame really. Spose that's half the trouble with getting older really, things just don't seem as funny anymore that when you're young.

Glad that stupid holiday is over. They had a event in eq2 where you did a scavenger hunt and you would win a ring that had +100 to all your stats and 1000hitpoints 1000mana. Of course it was very obvious it was fake, but basically all you did was wait 2 hours and you got a ring with no stats in the mail.

They deleted all the topics and posts in OT and Null (I'm not sure about the other forums, I didn't go to them), then enabled guest posting. Basically, the forum got filled with mostly useless topics that only a few people bothered posting in.

I only came here twice before I realized it wasn't worth the time.
