hey, i bought the game already and played a couple of wi-fi matches. So i was wondering If any one else has the game. if you do then post your friend code so i can add you, and we can battle.

its awsome. The graphics are really good for the ds. There are also short cut scenes and videos you can watch and unlock, which look amazing. On wi-fi mode you can chose from many different characters(i only have 3 so far), and theres also a voice-chat, and normal picto-chat like function that you can use, but only with your friends. Any one who has a ds should get this game.

I'm curious. As someone who enjoys the Metroid Prime games but gets bored with deathmatch FPS really easily...is the single-player mode actually worthwhile? Or is it just sort of an empty timefiller for when you can't/don't want to get into an online match?

Any details you can offer as far as quest/story integration/enemy variety/level design would be really helpful.

single player mode is basically the whole point of the game. The online mode is justa thing they added, wich is pretty cool and fun. I think once u beat parts of the story, you unlock characters in online mode. About quest/story integration/enemy variety/level design... i would have to say its pretty staright forward. You encounter qiute a lot of enemys sometimes but its not that big of a problem, but the boss's can be a pain sometimes.

Okay...I was afraid it was going to be like Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament with a Metroid motif. I'm sure I'd hop online once in a while just to play with it, but it wouldn't be enough to justify the game purchase for me.

I think the voice chat sounds cool enough to justify the game purchase for online play. If it were single player I'd probably pick it up once it hits the bargain bin, but online play is always fun and voice chat over a handheld sounds pretty neat. I want to try it.

ya the voice chat is great. Me and compacho were playing and that option really helps. If you get it post your friend code so we can all play.

Just got My copy... After playing some single player , I decided to go wi-fi, just for my ds to Die on me.. Damn it.! Ill post my code once my DS charges..

why can't we just have a ds wifi forum??????

just so its not over loaded with chat you could make it so only mods and admins can make topics which would all be wifi games. and ususers can post in those topics about their ds id

getting my ds as soon as the lite comes to america

games i will have

metroid , mario kart, tetris, maybe animal crossing and that new rpg/rts from ubisoft thats wifi thats coming out in april.

does anyone know if the new super mario bros will have wifi online play?

Because this is a board dedicated to the Dreamcast, not the DS. If we had a DS forum, then people would start asking for a Gamecube forum, then an Xbox forum, so on and so on. That would change the whole purpose of this board. So that's why.
