All i wanna do is replace my PAL DC LED with a blue one, so that it matches the Blue swirl and looks all spiffy
I did some soldering at school so I'm okay there, But i was just wondering what type of LED etc. i need to use?
Noobish questions.

You need a 3.3v LED, or something close to that. I heard 3v works, not sure though. http://www.lsdiodes.com has LED's that will work if you need some.

You will have to get a Blue LED.
The ones at lsdiodes are by far the best IMO.
http://www.lsdiodes.com/5mm/
Get the blue 5MM from there. Open the DC and solder it in
