There's no mediocre games to me there's awesome and then there's the rest. Just wait until someone says that Shenmue is dog crap and see peoples head rolling.
The list I gave were mediocre minus games IMHO, since now there's a list for that class. Maybe we could make a voting and elect the 5 best games for each genre.

ODM had strict and just reviews my personal favourite reviews wewre on ODM anyway the rating system I follow
1 = made while taking a crap(SHIT)
2 = made after jacking off(WASTED)
3 = partyed last night and then made it
4 = Exausted or some reason
5 = Failed to realise the potential in the game and could've done a better job
6 = A little more work needed for a good game
7 = good game with there share of flows
8 = great game just a small number of issues
9 = excellent game just one tiny small issue
10= PERFECT
the review system I follow is I take a look at IGN , Gamespot and a feww others and make up an Averge mentally

Dude, Hydro Thunder kicked ass ... i don't care what anyones says (remember, it's an ARCADE game ported over...)
And umm .. a couple crappy DC games...
Evolution 2
Dinosaurs
Prince of Persia (love the whole series, all the way back to the 80's .. 1st game series i ever played, but holy god this game sucks)
House of the Dead 2 (gonna get flamed for this, it's fun actually .. but oh so cheesy.. the voice acting!)
i'm sure i could think of others if i pulled out my cd booklet ...
Btw, Southpark Rally wasn't a DC exclusive ...so why does it make it here? (i don't think 1 or 2 of mine were either .. but oh well)

If the actual game play gets the thumbs up then sound doesn't really make it a bad game. Although i must admit i Soul Calibur 2 with English audio thank god for for the jap audio optionpSyCo wrote:House of the Dead 2 (gonna get flamed for this, it's fun actually .. but oh so cheesy.. the voice acting!)

This topic is about bad games. It doesn't matter if the PC versions of Q3A and UT are better, because they still are very good games.
By the way, UT is an almost perfect port; the only graphical feature it lacks is dynamic lighting. And unlike Q3A, its graphic details doesn't suffer when playing in split-screen.
Hm... yeah, there is one bad thing in UT: the way the controller is configured, it's impossible to use the secondary attacks effectively.

If you look well you can definately spot differences between detail between single player and 2 player mode in Q3A, nonetheless, it is a very good port and I really enjoy playing that game. It's 2 player mode rocks when playing with my brother , and even 4 player split screen works above my expectations. So it definately doesn't belong on a list of bad games.Fragger wrote:This topic is about bad games. Now I still need to get me UT.

Somehow I can understand it if you compare it to playing it on a fast pc with keyboard and mouse. But what if there wouldn't be such a thing? How would you see it as a game alone? (ignoring there's a superior pc version)Captain Tokyo wrote:I agree with Q3 and Unreal being pretty bad on the DC.

Man, it never ceases to amaze me that so many people don't understand that the bad voice acting in House Of The Dead is intentional. It's a game based on '80s horror movies that always had horrible acting. The bad voice acting is one of House Of The Dead's strongest features, it shows a sense of humor and craft that apparently go over a lot of people's heads.pSyCo wrote:House of the Dead 2 (gonna get flamed for this, it's fun actually .. but oh so cheesy.. the voice acting!)

Depends on how you define almost all. I would consider more than 90% of titles on almost every system out to not be worth playing. Perhaps not quite CRAP... I'd say 60-70% of an average systems titles released in America qualify as crap.Man you're cruel, in your opinion almost all DC the games are crap
