Porn worse than crack!
According to some people, anyway.
Now that I think about it I'm probably a porn addict, no better than the druggies I like to pick on! /me shoots himself in the eye.

Read this and wrote an long-winded rant for another board I contribute to.
In a recent article that I came across in Wired News, they reported a study that claimed the pornography was more addictive than crack. While it?s no secret that I?m a pornography enthusiast of sorts, it?s worth presenting this like it is? in the usual style of brutal honestly. The Conservative Christian movement would have you to believe that only terrible people have sexual thoughts, and that you better have plenty of Hail Maries standing by in order to save your eternal soul from damnation. Repent, you heathens! While it?s not my intention to refuse the morality of pornography, it is a fact that even good Christian kiddos voluntarily expose themselves to such ?evils.? In turn, they are taught to have an unnecessary sense of guilt as a result from something that is perfectly natural. This is where I come in. It is my firm belief that the purpose of humanity is little more than to procreate and proliferate the species. We may strive for enlightenment and whatnot, but that?s all a grand side-tracking in the greater design. Were I to actually care to bother, I could surely come across the verse that encourages us to be ?fruitful.? I?m not looking for biblical refute of what I?m saying either, so please don?t take this at that. While some people take this advice and run it into overpopulation, with that being the case how could one not have sexual thoughts? I don?t think that we?re morally depraved at all, and certainly don?t think that anyone would maintain that sex for reproduction in and of itself is an ?evil? act.
Let me tell you what pornography has already done for you? a behind the scenes if you will. Porn keeps nearly every single man sane in the sense that it provides an outlet for the barrage of ?impure? thoughts that we?re faced with on a daily basis. Don?t think me sexist in this sense either. Women are our equal in this, but more often than not are the ones pointing the fingers. Were it not for this harmless in comparison release, there?d be sharp increase in the number of rape incidents, and brutality toward women would surely rise. Wouldn?t these angry feminist be cheering then? I?m not speaking in the context of being a married man, or someone who laughably equates pornography to cheating, but am coming at this as a single man. From experience, my level of interest in pornography is almost zero when I?m in a relationship anyhow. I can?t even conceive a notion that it would substitute for a partner, but as I find myself jokingly stumbling through the land of relation-sh*t, I know that it?s there for me at the end of the day when all else fails. If I, or mankind for that matter, were to view women as little more than a sexual object (which isn?t far off at the moment), you?d be hard pressed to receive any legitimate conversation out of us. In all actuality, women should be glad that they were granted a purpose in the scheme of things sexually; otherwise there wouldn?t be much point in befriending them. Every woman that I?ve ever known would contend that males are far easier to deal with. And again, no, I don?t speak to every female as if they?re the means to a sexual end. I?m not perverse, nor am I trying to degrade women in any sense (lovely creatures they can be when they want to be), but seriously, a downtown ?March against Pornography? is hardly required in response to ignorance. I suppose Christian parents would rather their children impregnate one another than discuss such things anyhow. It is this, the hypocrisy that always gets to me. Why is it that everyone must be so secretive and condescending toward others while they?re guilty of the very same things?
