Beats of Rage Mod Ideas. . .

The first "Streets of Rage" type game I ever played was back on the NES with Double Dragon. One idea I thought of would have the same kind of gameplay from the original Double Dragon games but with the sprites of the Double Dragon sequel released last year by SNK, Rage of the Dragons. It would be the closest thing to the original Beats of Rage, but with something closer to a classic update of what we remember as Double Dragon. Although a play on words, call it something like "Burning Fists - Rage of the Double Dragons."

My other idea was simply a side-story or an expanded take on all of the fighting events from Shenmue 1. Everyone I knew that didn't like Shenmue liked the 100-man fight. Those craving more Shenmue and more fighting could get both.

Ofcourse, I am not a coder; but those craving some ideas that may have some merit of interest could run with it.

The idea of a collection of all Beats of Rage type games is really good. Perhaps it can make it on the homebrew magazine. . .

I think it would be awesome if someone made a Simpsons mod that plays like the original Simpsons arcade machine (you know, the one where Smithers takes Maggie so they kick the crap out of everyone
