Mono sound speeds up DreamSNES?

Anything DreamSNES-related can be asked in this forum, such as general questions about the emulator, how to burn it, etc.

ESC = Sends you back to the menu screen
S3 = Shows the speed the current game is running at...100% being equal to the speed of a real SNES.

...and yes, switching to mono does give a speed increase...usually at least 5-10%.

i bought my keyboard coz a mate in eb said i culd get it brand new for ?3 plus ?20 worth of free stuff so i thought "fuk it!" :)

i hv to say on a lot of games i havent noticed any speed increase when switching to mono sound... Even changing it in the game as well as on dreamsnes but maybe its just the games i been playing (Chrono Trigger, FF6 and Clocktower)

Megaman 9 (Rockman & Forte) works a lot better in mono than in stereo.

it's kind of interesting. Rockman 9 (which is Rockman and Forte) is the last game before MegaMan X, and X is number 10 in roman numeros.
