I call it SNES, Super Nintendo, and Super Famicom. It all depends on the mood I'm in.

Obviously I don't pronounce the initials "SNES" as Super Nintendo, but that's what I usually call it. However, when I'm talking about something like DreamSNES, I pronounce it Dream-S-N-E-S.

Really how do people look at you when you say S-N-E-S? I would have something like "what?!!". If Nintendo wanted that people say SNES that way, it wasn't also very commercial. How can you sell that?

It can also have to do that saying it in Dutch really sounds stupid, but saying it English quickly sounds a bit better, still stupid though

I say "S-N-E-S" or "Super-N-E-S" or sometimes "Super Nintendo". The fact that all the letters in SNES are capitalized tells me that it's not supposed to be pronounced as one word, like "Snes".
I would say it as a word coz its easier. And I do that with lots of things. Like how QANTAS is pronounced QUAN-TAS (well as close as i could come up with). You dont say Q-A-N-T-A-S.

But I've always pronounced as ssness.
I pronounce it more 'SNEZ'
it always shitted me how ppl say that

usually i only say it like that when used quickly or in conjunction with other things. such as Dee-sssness (DSNES). A lot of times i will also say Super Nintendo when it is a more formal thing to which i am referring or S N E S along with ssness when said quickly and such.

I call it S NES.
Just saying SNES sounds stupid to me. I've always heard people say NES to the 8-Bit system, so when I see SNES I say S NES. Rarely I will say Super NES, it's also legitimate.
People who say Super Nintendo or Nintendo(8-Bit) are actually forgetting a big part of the word.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Dumb people are amusing.
Another word for strange is special.
