Halo has sucked since Timesplitters 2

That is all
TS2 is extremely overrated here.
No, it really isn't

Halo does not have bots
Halo does not have monkeys, giant hands or anything of the like
Halo does not have enough varitey in the levels
Halo does not have enough variety in the weapons (Bricks, anyone?)
Halo is not the best FPS ever made, Timeplitters 2 is

That is finally all
You are a wanker.

That is all.

Anyway, I hated the game originally, now I think it's pretty good, but still not Halo-caliber. And calling it the best FPS ever is quite obsurd.

TS2 is indeed a great game, but it's not selling like hotcakes 2 years after it's release at full price like Halo is

Only because people constantly wax rhapsodic about Halo, despite it being only slightly better than decent. It was a great launch game. You hardly see launch games of that caliber.
And I like how Hasney gives some reasons why TS2 is better and the only defense that the Halo side can come up with is: "Nuh uh." and "You suck."
Timesplitters 2 > Timesplitters > Goldeneye > Perfect Dark
Free Radical is probably the best creators of console FPS.

Just realized when toast said that. Goldeneye is probably the best FPS ever on any console.

The reason Halo is so brilliant I think is it just hit the right place at the right time. Like teh original Matrix movie...expected to be a flop but was just out in the right place at the right time.

TS2 does not have huge open maps with lots of room for you and 15 other people to play in  .
TS 2 does on have warhogs (spelling?) that you can drive and have 2 friends in it with you at the same time.
TS 2 does not have a great single play campaign, with an even better co op single player campaign.
TS 2 does not have a great story.
Halo pwns TS2, so bad that its not even funny.

Actually TS2 Multiplayer is much better than Halo's but as a single player experience Halo rains all over TS2's parade.

Reasons why:-

Legendary Mode - THE reason most Xbox fanboys think this is the best game evaaaaaaaar.

Vehicles

Storyline - TS2 doesn't have one basically

Controls - IMO anyway

Halo is also visually and aurally superior in nearly every aspect.

I don't think Halo is the best game ever but it has, for me at least, provided some of my most treasured gaming moments.

I really didn't find anything spectacular in TimeSplitters 2.

The first stage is pretty good, but it all goes downhill from there.

The Notre Dame Hunchback stage blows chunks, in my opinion.

And you get motion sickness from the "wheelchair" camera motion. It really doesn't feel like you're walking.

The level design feature is good though, once you get the hang of it.

I know, it feels like you're running. Shame the same can't be said for Halo, though. I could pull a tractor through treacle using just my teeth faster than that green bloke can move.

I've lost count on how many times I've beaten it.. but Im guessing I have at least 400 hours put into the Single Player.

I loved the story... which was shined better on in the books.

I bought this game on launch night and still play it at least once a week.

See, the story wasn't all that great. It was just another "a species has an ultimate weapon we must destroy." (To me anyways.) Can't comment on the books though.

it's much better than TS2's "find the crystal and get the hell out" story in EVERY LEVEL

Neither did Halo.. "OMG, THE ALIENS LOL"... Half-Life had a great story, Halos was just... odd
If i remember right wasn't half lifes story just about alians trying to take over the world too?, its how they are done and played out in both games that makes them stand above all the other fps with the story of alains trying to take over the world.
Meh, Halos one innovation to gaming

what did TS2 give us? .
I've enjoyed over 50 levels of fun so far... thats one helluva lot longer than Halo

Yes but its pretty much doing the same thing over and over again with pretty much no story to it.

Everyone will have their own say on this cos its all based around opinons.

Niether does TS2.
