I just got a GC (used all my money...:P) and I whondered if there where any apps/homebrew games out on it yet...

I dont have a DVD burner....But I do have a lot of mini-cd-rs

Not yet. Probably not for a while either.

forget about it. Gamecube does not read mini-cd's. IT won't even read mini cd music, which is very popular format in Japan. So the answer isno, unless nintendo does one of those smash pak things, but u'd be limited to what they give you, and u'd have to pay $$$.

Animal Planet for GC contains a working NES emulator, and a number of classic Nintendo NES titles like Punch Out and MEtroid.

Hey - its a start :D

I'm sure a chip will come out that will boot cd-r's. I read littlw while ago that some one in Japan did crack it.

hmmmmmmm, I wouldn't chip my gamecube. The thing is so small, what do u chip? U have to wake everyhting outta da shell, I would never do that to my soon to be baby.

You'd have to import a Gamecube that can use DVD's, Panisonic has one.

Not that it matters to me, I bought my Gamecube for the games, and plan to let my Dreamcast do the Emulating [they look so good next to each other, my Dreamcast and Gamecube :) ]
