Why doesnt nintendo make dreamcast games?

Well since nintendo and sega are together now why doesnt nintendo release some of the n64 games on dreamcast?
i mean if nintendo redid the games like sega did for them
wouldnt it be possible?
someone should get ahold of nintendo

The Dreamcast is dying. They mite think they'll lose some money.

Nintendo CEO: "Okay guys, I need you to stop coding those new GameCube games. We need to focus on porting out N64 line to the DreamCast. Next year's project: porting our SNES line to the Sega Genesis/Megadrive"

Only way I could see them doing that is if they actually was able to make a emulator that ran the roms on a dreamcast. Then they could release smashpacks on it etc. But considering the dreamcast is practically dead, I don't see any of that happening.

Ninetndo and Sega arent really together. Sega have gone cross platform so now they make games for Sony, Nintendo, and M$.

it would be a BIG waste of their money to make DC games since the system is dying. I'd love it to happen but it wont.

No offense or anything, but that is just the stupidest question ever

sega are a third party games developer cuz their consoles fell through, ninty though are still exactly the same as they were b4 - 1st party game developer and console makers, so they would never make games for another console they only thing that has cahnged with the big N is that they get some sega games (yay sonic advance!)

WHY?!?! Why would Nintendo create games for any console other then its own?!?!?! Its like saying Sony you should make games for dreamcast too since sega gave you virtua Fighter 4 and Crazy taxi..... never would something like that happen.... i feel dumber just reading this topic AAHHHGGGHHHH!!!

Business is business. If someone had the $$$ and wanted to license Nintendo's characters for a console that wouldn't compete with its console (like a old Smash Pack of N64, etc.), I am sure that Nintendo would consider it. Money talks.

My idea: Nintendo vs. Sega: Clash of the Corporate Kings

Kind of like Super Smash Bros. Melee but throw in a bunch of Sega characters.

Heh, if they did that, and had a Nintendo 'style' of SSB and a Sega 'style' like VF Kids / Sonic Fighters... it would be like my craziest dreams of 5 years ago had come true

Well squaresoft was trying to make GBA games, and nintendo declined.... that should tell you right there nintendo doesn't make deals and we all know how well squaresoft games would sell on GBA... so i think nintendo is too stuburn to ever change that.
