can most pc games be ported as long as there is sourcecode ?

Talk about Quake, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, or other DC first person shooting game ports and mods for those games in here.

I guess you could say they would be able to...but performance would probably be less than poor.

but most games that have free source code are old ones so that would help out with the performance
