dang, i was counting on using that.|darc| wrote: They're not gonna take "I GOT BANZORED FROM THIS LEET CS SERVOR CUZ I WUZ HAXIN AND I WONNA GET BACK IN AND HAX EM ALL UP"
the reason i wanted something is because i cant get into a animal crossing site to update my catalog. some other people have the same problem. i cant even register with a new nick. i can browse the forums and everything but they are of no help. when they sent me the registration e mail about a month ago it had my address on it, so i think maybe trying a new address would help.

Again with the static/dynamic confusion....AmadeusZull wrote:some isp alow ypu to pay extra for a static ip. meaning your ip always changes.
Actually, most make you pay extra for a static IP that DOESN'T change.

Can't you just power cycle the modem and it will change?
To see when you're IP would change on it's own, just go to the command prompt and type 'ipconfig/all' and look for Lease expires.

I've had the same 'dynamic' IP for the past couple of years that I've had a Cable internet connection. Never changed. Not once.
I guess that just means Charter is lazy..

Almost as funny as "dramic recompiliation" or something like that...btm4k wrote:Heh, should I put that quote in my sig?AmadeusZull wrote:some isp alow you to pay extra for a static ip. meaning your ip always changes.
when it's really dynamic binary translation, commonly mislabeled as "dynamic recompiler".
