Missing the old days.

Now that MidnightObsidian officially left, I have come to the conclusion this place isn't the same anymore. Not just becuase he left, but it seems like many of the regulars that were hear when I first came here have vanished. People like pkscary, anal=probe, sixteen-bit, Mr. Siggler, Jabba2442(well he is grounded), btm4k, Token99(Narcissus), melancholy, MetalGearRay, EvilSporkMan, NeonGenesis, and MANY MANY others, that used to be pretty frequent posters pretty much faded into the shadows and disappeared or just rarely post anymore. I know people move unto new things, but its just not the same here anymore. Those people were the people that made me feel welcome here at DCEmulation, and now many of them are gone. It makes me wonder why I am still here. I mean of course there are new people here and everything, but its still not the same. Newbies all over the place now, I mean no offence to anyone, I know i am not the leetest person in the world, but still. There are so many more people I can list, just don't have time to dig up all posts.

I wish I had as much time as I did a few months back... I previously worked a desk job, and all I'd do is hang on dcemu. Now I work a different job, and when I'm not there I'm doing webpages and things on the side... sooo busy lately... not only that, but I've been having some financial troubles, so I try to do extra to make some cash. We just sent off to have our first CD mass produced, we're getting 1000 copies, and our first concert is this Saturday. So between doing songs, working, doing webpages, and graphics for the upcoming cd, I've just not had time for much of anything. Hell, I haven't had sex in 3 months.

LOL, but anyway, I still try to swing by every so often, even if I don't post, I'll lurk for a bit. Hopefully things will slow down soon and I'll be able to hang a little more, but for now, I'm smashed with stuff. I just have to post this pic, for old times sake....

Yeah, I kinda feel the same way Xylene. But you weren't here for the Golden Age, and neither was I, but at least I was here before CV reached it's popularity now, I was sad when people like Van-Lardo left, and pysco. I do wish most people would come back

Yeah, I think I lurked the main site when the UBB was around.

Oh, I forgot, why doesn't Subwoofer post anymore? He does occasionally, but he was one of the first people I saw here.

Back in my days as Zero, I coused a lot of problems.. (not as many as Jebba Jabba

I'll admit I don't post as much, or go on IRC as much as I used to. But I'm coming back now, slowly. I was distracted by a few non software projects i'm tinkering with, and some rl stuff.

Man, I was lurking at the main site in the days of UBB.

Yeah Van Lardo was cool...funny dude. He posted not so long ago I think.

Exactly about it changing though...When I first registered (After lurking for years) there was so many people who are no longer here...Ah well. Times change...I think the nublets (Hell yeah!) have always stayewd the same, you just notice them more now. They can't half get annoying.

I started coming here only like a year ago. So I know nothing of this old days thing. :/ Though I can understand the feeling.

You need to have like ... an oldschool reunion or something. hehe... have a forum where only the old people can go for a day or so.
