I did my 1st patch to the Quake by Bero to be compatible to QDC by Titanium!
I changed the dir /cd/data to /cd/ then the game loads but i can only start the demos not the actuall game
(I used HexWorkshop to patch the 1st_read.bin)
I've tried the patch!

1. It was the sofware version of PC-Quake.
2. I used the full version.
3. I already had a burnt version of QDC by Tianium, then I put the plain binfile of Bero's quake to the same cdr using multisession. Afterwards i started it with dchakker/demomenu. It said: Put the Quake CD in.
So I patched the 1st_read.bin with a hex editor. I changed the foldernames.
I've already written it above ^

I never tried dchakker/demomenu or any of Bero's Quake 1 ports, so i can't offer much help. But maybe the problem is in the multisession. I noticed that QuakeDC has problems to load textures in CDs with many sessions. Maybe something similar can happen to Bero's ports.
The image in my sig is stored in my website, so you can know when my site is down. If you can see my sig but the site doesn't load, it's just a traffic problem. By the way, I've a new version to release, but I have to finish some things in my site first. It should be available next week. The biggest change in it is support for up to 1683 skins in deathmatch.
