I've got a friend who came into school complaining that his AOL account had been hacked. I asked him what had happened, and he gave me a run-down.

1. A page came up telling him he'd won a prize

2. To claim his prize he had to enter his AOL username and password

3. He did

4. He went back six hours later to find all his favourites deleted and every password changed.

5. He's an idiot

I couldn't stop laughing at him all day.What's scary is that he's in top class for everything and is in the top, say, 10% of the year. You see what AOL does to people!

its so easy to create a site that would look even like aols and change some info in a form mailer and it will have there info sent to you. (actually i got one but i dont use it. knowing html can be good. i wont tell people how i did it either. so dont ask.

Put the AOL of AOL.gif into lowercase... made it work for me
