Look, I'm not leaving this place and you'll certainly see more posts from me in the future, but I can't say for how much longer that will stay true because it's painfully clear this place is falling to lower levels of activity with every passing month.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is there's stuff I need to say to you guys before I (and all of us) go, and as I don't know when that is, I should probably just say what I need to say now while I still have the opportunity.

This place has been fucking awesome, and I've spent the last ten years of my life growing up with you all. We've lost many along the way, but the fact I can remember who they are is only proof of how great this community was and is. I've never met any of you personally, but I'd still rather tell you guys about the latest game I played than half the people I work with. There's been a lot of ups and downs between us all, but that's made a lot of great memories that I'll certainly be keeping with me for the rest of my life. If I ever get famous and write an autobiography, there will be a DCEmulation chapter.

Whatever happens to myself and the rest of you in the future, we'll always have this - a place to always remember, and hopefully, revisit. I love you all. In a totally gay way.

Again, I'm not leaving and don't know if I ever deliberately will, but I'm worried that entropy will decide for me at some point and I don't want to be like all those other evil selfish dicks who just quit without a word, so in case I never get the chance to say it again - I'm saying it now.

I know what you mean Boney, I feel pretty much the same way. This was definitely my favorite online community. The amount of "inside" shenanigans we had going on here was insane. I mean, we even had our own memes, no? I will always remember Adam Delano, Mark Discordia, etc.

This place doesn't really have to ever die. That is, I know I will host it and visit it forever. Even if many people here don't care in the slightest about the Dreamcast. You guys are some of my best friends, and I wouldn't stop visiting here any more than I would call up a friend whom I haven't seen in a while and say "Hey, I haven't talked to you in a while, so I'm just letting you know: goodbye forever."
