Did I miss the Ryu debut trailer.
Never played FF7 but I would like the remake to have more realistic graphics than the character models.

Re: For those who haven't seen Nintendo's Super Smash Bros n
I'm probably the only person in the world who was disappointed by this.
I was hoping for either Shovel Knight (as a nod to the important role indie devs have played for the Wii U) or Simon Belmont (as a continuation of the whole "Nintendo treats classic franchises better than their owners" that we saw with Pac-Man and Sonic), both of whom seem like they'd lend themselves to more unique move sets/play styles.

Oh well... maybe that Smash Bros. announcement in December will bring more characters.

I don't follow Smash Bros. I checked Ryu's trailer his animation is pretty crap. They say he is based on SF2 but that doesn't explain why his lips are not synced and his facial expressions are bland.

Cloud seems a bit out of place considering that FF VII is synonymous with Playstation, but at least Square are capitalising on it by releasing a bunch of FF games, unlike Konami and Capcom who did absolutely nothing regarding Snake (Brawl) and Ryu.DaMadFiddler wrote:I....or Simon Belmont (as a continuation of the whole "Nintendo treats classic franchises better than their owners" that we saw with Pac-Man and Sonic), both of whom seem like they'd lend themselves to more unique move sets/play styles.
A Belmont would make more sense as not only do they have a history with Nintendo platforms but you can get all those Castlevania games on the eShop.
