Rayman Legends
It's absolutely brilliant - excluding the Murphy levels which are passable at best. Thing is, unless they're amazingly different in design I can only imagine they're worse on the Wii U, because fiddling about on the gamepad while trying to platform seems to me like it would be a right pain in the arse. Still, the levels are incredibly imaginative and there's so much content. It's an excellent package.
GTA V Digital Pre-order
I'm not a fan of digital copies of disc-based games at all, but I'm hyped for this and it seemed like the best option. While it's way easier to get games in China than I thought it would be before I came here, it's difficult to get them straight after release and I don't think I could stand waiting a couple of weeks for this one. Plus, you get 75% off all other Rockstar games with you pre-order on PSN and Bully (which I've never played) was very tempting for $2.

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
From what i've seen/heard, the Wii U game is supposed to be the definitive version due to the gamepad features... the game was built from the ground up for the Wii U and was even supposed to be an exclusive at one stage, Interestingly enough the Wii U version has also sold the most copies in the UK thus far...Specially Cork wrote:Rayman Legends

Gamespot were the only ones that didn't like the gamepad features though apparently..
I recently picked up:
Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Wii U £22.98
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - NDS £5.50

Mario and Luigi Dream Team.
It's graphically worse than Sticker Star, but probably plays a bit better. There's so much good 3DS software available now.

Just picked up the Dreamcast LAN Adapter for $180, so now I have both the LAN Adapter and the Broadband Adapter.

Found a copy of Shenmue 2 (DC) for $35, which I was very pleased about. The thing was flawless and I don't even think the manuals were even opened.

How is that? I downloaded the demo a while back, and it seemed interesting, but I was worried it might get stale after a few hours or so. Worth a buy?Matisfaction wrote:The Wonderful 101
It still strikes me as odd that they had that fat EU case and still felt the need to spread the discs across two cases. Always bothered me a little bit, but maybe that's just because I'm running out of shelf space.melancholy wrote:Found a copy of Shenmue 2 (DC) for $35, which I was very pleased about. It's a great game, it's pretty old school as there's a learning curve regarding the controls, but it's great when you get into it. There's plenty of variety between levels and theres a story to follow as well, you can tell that Platinum games have put a lot of work into it.DaMadFiddler wrote:How is that? Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Not too recent, but I bought Sturmwind, and received it about a month ago (I made it to the 4th world, I think, by now) Also preordered DC version of Pier Solar, maybe a week or two ago)

Evil Twin for Dreamcast. It's one of the very few DC games I've never played.

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
...Okay, Evil Twin is actually a bit disappointing. I remember it having this neat, sort of Neil Gaiman-esque atmosphere to it... but more than anything, it just feels sort of clunky and dated. The story and atmosphere are still somewhat interesting, but they also come across as a second-rate incarnation of American McGee's Alice.

PAL, I should have mentioned that first.|darc| wrote:PAL or NTSC-J?melancholy wrote:Found a copy of Shenmue 2 (DC) for $35, which I was very pleased about. The thing was flawless and I don't even think the manuals were even opened.
Also bought GTA 5 and got Red Dead Redemption for free. And got ahold of a copy of Another Code R for Wii, which I was excited about.

Damn, very lucky. NTSC-J I could see going for that cheap, but the PAL version usually goes for like $75.melancholy wrote:PAL, I should have mentioned that first.|darc| wrote:PAL or NTSC-J?melancholy wrote:Found a copy of Shenmue 2 (DC) for $35, which I was very pleased about. I preordered the Wii U with Zelda Wind Waker HD bundle yesterday, I have to go pick it up in a few hours when Best Buy opens. Hopefully I don't have to deal with too much iPhone 5s/5c launch BS when I get there.

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
I have strange memories associated with Evil Twin. I somehow confused it with Good & Evil or Black & White.
To make things worse I was actually working in a game store during 2001 and sold several copy of Evil Twins to hot girls telling them you can play as God in that game. I was shocked when I eventually played the game, I wonder how they felt?
