Our History?
Over the years it appears we have lost a lot about us:
The about us page on the site is very brief.
All the magazines we were featured in only had EGM's scan, where did the rest go?
http://dcemulation.org/?title=DCEmulation:Featured_In
How do we find them again.
Basically I am realizaing a lot of stuff has gone missing such as all the super cool mods at DevCast the website exists only in text all the pictures are gone.
Also what happend to homebrew.dcemulation.com, I remember it moved to dchomebrew.org, what happend after that.

Re: Our History?
I wish I still had the other EGM article (I think) that spurred me to buy a Dreamcast for NesterDC.

Re: Our History?
Homebrew site launches, time passes, 007Cheater does fuck all to maintain it, Wraggster runs the site for a while since nobody else can be arsed, all the staff at DCEmu quit the site because of Cheater, Wragg decides to help himself to the site and all its content, he integrates a chunk of the content into dcemu.co.uk when it launches, 007 and everyone remaining at the site call him a thief and everyone is furious about such serious website stealing internet business, time passes, darc steals the entire DCEmulation site from Cheater, the seven remaining active users don't notice a difference, Bilal Xia changes his username to cube_b3cube_b3 wrote:Also what happend to homebrew.dcemulation.com, I remember it moved to dchomebrew.org, what happend after that.

Re: Our History?
It's gone, and none of us are going to bother finding it again. Just stick souLLy's explaination there and leave it.

Re: Our History?
Well that is fairly simple it turned into dcemu.co.uk.
dcemu.co.uk was a super site back in the day, but then it turned into a bizzarre super blog covering every thing known to man, I miss the old interface where it suggested a random inde commercial game to buy, a random homebrew game to download "revolver", and one more panel.
What is are relation with DCemu.co.uk now that Cheetah is out of the picture completely?

Now soully was kind enough to explain me, how we lost are hosted site.
What about our affliate DevCast? I used to be in regular communication with the good fellow who ran the orignal website, before it got a facelift.
I probed alittle further into Devcast and their is nothing but the main page there and that was one of my favourite sites related to Dreamcast, we need to bring it back somehow. I will personally move all of it's content to the dcemu-wiki.

Re: Our History?
Try clicking a few links... nothing works.
If I can get my hands on the content I will move it into the new section.

I think I will contact Cheetah to see if he still has the mag scans, given that he was the one who was always interviewed he would have kept them with him.

What was the whole story behind the Zero's Tower debacle?

Trying to build up a history of this site while avoiding Hasney is like trying to build up a history of the USA while avoiding the founding fathers.cube_b3 wrote:I am more intrested in DCemulation's public activities rather than your forum activities, no disrespect.Hasney wrote:Feel free to spoil yourselves with some amazing Historic Hasney posts http://web.archive.org/web/200108021105 ... matebb.cgi

We are here to discuss other people, FETT is really helpfull and many other people in the chat room are also helpfull. That is all I hve to say. And please, drop the porno. ITs good to look at yes. But, younger kids and older adults do visit the site. You are going to scare people away.

Re: Our History?
Yeah the continuity has been out of whack with a bunch of things, some of it is forgivable but some of it is kind of annoying.
The new eps have been good though so I won't complain too much.

Re: Our History?
The recent episode with Bender and Hermes was so off in continuity it wasn't even funny.
