Woke up, showered, played Guitar Hero 2 for awhile, went to grandma's house, ate dinner, left with cousin and smoked a blunt while going to his mom's house, ate another dinner while watching Shrek 3, smoked another blunt on the way home, and ate leftovers at my house. I will now be shitting my guts out these next couple days.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving around here. I spent the whole night lurking at some website. It was a weird night.

And I'm pretty meh about The Saints. The teams you support tend to be who you liked as a kid. I watched Dallas win several Super Bowls back in the '90s. Add to that the fact that geographically they are the closest NFL team to me, and that's why I like them.

I totally agree with this. Growing up in Dallas, and Chicago... and now living in Wisconsin I have an extreme dislike for the Packers. Sure, I respect them and believe they are the real deal this year, but that does not mean I have to like them.

The Saints aren't overrated or arrogant, though. Dallas is "America's team" and "god's favorite team." They are one of the only teams I hate (throw the pats up there, too).

The Mannings have a lot of support in New Orleans because of Archie, as such I usually support the Giants... though that Vikings game yesterday was horrible...

Part of the reason the Cowboys got the label "America's team" is because historically, if the feed of whatever game a channel was scheduled to be showing cut out, they could put the Cowboys on and most of the people watching would be happy.

:guffaw:

Who did this poll?

Or are you simply speaking from a perspective that historically in your life the Cowboys had been a dynasty and if the people can't watch their team on TV they'll watch the dynasty team's game?

Im a Cowboys fan. They definitly are not the closest team geographically (That would be the Vikings, fuck the Vikings), I pretty much just made them my favorite because my older brother liked them when I was younger around when they were winning super bowls. So essentially he jumped on the bandwagon, and I copied him not knowing who else to root for.

And about the Cowboys being overated and the Packers being the real team, all that will be settled on Thursday. Sucks for those of you who dont have the NFL Network though.

tell me about it. but hey, we still lead the wildcard contenders by a win. kind of sucks though, if we were in the nfc south or west we'd be leading the division.

I'm simply repeating what the announcer said on Thanksgiving. Let them defend their own claims.
