Just bought a 19" LCD Monitor :D
Widescreen.
This will take some getting used to, but I'm liking it a lot. Took me 10 minutes to figure out where the power button for the damn thing was though.
I've been in the market for a new monitor for a few years now, but never actually bought one. Today was the day and damn, I'm liking it so far.

It'll take getting used to. But I was the exact same way when I bought my 42" tv
Once I get used to it, I'll probably wonder how I ever did without it.
The monitor it replaced with a 17" CRT I got back in 1998. The thing is bulky, heavy, gets extremely hot after short amounts of time, the display is stuffing up and it's just ugly. It'll be put to use as either a 2nd monitor (if I feel like having 2 set up) or I could just set my DC upto it permanently.

no dual monitor setup though, as i run SLI, i would have to enable and disable everytime i boot up a game

@DrFreeze: I felt the same way until it started getting hot too quickly and display started to get funny. The only thing that bothered me is that max resolution was 1024x768.
@Scherzo: No use to you because I'm Aussie, however it was $349 19" 8ms 650:1 LCD. The brand I'm not sure on, it's CMV. I should've done the research into whether or not they're a good brand or not, but I didn't know until I got to the store. Of it's size and the specifications it has, it's the best I've found so far for how much it cost. I was willing to spend $300 for a 17", so I figured add a bit more for a 19" widescreen.

I am starting to look into a 19" Widescreen too. You can find them for around 200 bucks or less here in the states.
Edit: Heres one for $150

I likes me some Dell 2405FPW action. Shame most games don't do widescreen.
they have a huge ass list with games and fixes for playing widescreen, and also some handy tools for FoV calculations and such
