On top of the DS, on the little Nintendo emblem, did you have a peice of cellophane guarding your emblem? I just noticed a peice of cellophane falling off the emblem, and I'm wondering if it was just there to protect it during shipment and packaging, like when the DS is slipped into the plastic bag in the box, or if it's supposed to be there to keep it in place. In other words, I just hope whatever glue is holding my Nintendo emblem in place isn't coming off, or maybe the cellophane on top of the emblem is supposed to come off? It just slid off while I was carrying it, I freaked out at first because I thought the Nintendo logo was a peice of paper and it was about to fall out or something.
Okay, I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't something holding it in that came off or something. It's hard to tell if the emblem is part of the plastic (I have a red DS, it's plastic) or if it's something else that is just resting in the plastic.
There's a small peice of cellophane that covers the Nintendo emblem on top of the DS. It's put there to remove scratches, but apparently many people never noticed. If you've had yours for awhile and don't see a peice of cellophane covering it, then it probably already fell off.
I also ended up peeling the plastic covering the serial number on the bottom. In retrospect, this is NOT a good idea as my serial number is now faded into nothingness..
I don't even remember my DS having a Nintendo logo on it...
Maybe I've been playing with the sandwich maker again?
I'll tell you someting though, that thing is heavy. I find playing it in bed a bit sore on the arms. Although if it is the sandwich toaster that would explain that as well.
I'm bummed that Nintendo is releasing the smaller, lighter model right after everyone and his Nintendog just bought one at xmas. Grrr

I looked. There is a shiny Nintendo emblem. I guess I pulled it off at the same time as the screen protector. Although the screen protector did look a lot like a toasted cheese sandwich.
