There are some that would argue that the 9/11 attacks were an attempt to stop terrorism - it is quite possible to commit terrorist acts in an attempt to stop other terrorist attacks.

Anyone who would argue that is stupid. If you've got half a brain, the response most countries would give to an event like 9/11 isn't hard to figure out, especially a country with the most powerful military in the world.

correct. bless our soldiers, but it wasn't their choice to go there.

those high up made that choice. that is darc's point. nobody wishes harm or hold ill fate towards our own men. the idealogies behind that instigated this war is like terrorism.

world war II wasnt terrorism (except for the A-Bomb)
the mere fact that bush has to repeatedly justify and defend the iraq war says something.

yeah come on guys... The united states has the most powerful military in thw world and that makes it alright for them to commit acts of terrorism...

And maybe the Dresden and Tokyo bombings. But you don't hear about those as much because they used conventional weapons and therefore resulted in more conventional horrors. They also didn't end the war.
