Well, here's the thing. My friend & I attempted to paint the Dreamcast and the DC peripherals a chrome color. We did other mods before, such as a multi-color LED and a switch for the GD-ROM. However, this one went bad, and my DC case was pretty much useless. It was mostly my friend who was painting it, so it was mostly his fault, but I'm not really mad at him because he was trying to help me out, after all. He told me he'd try to fix it for my birthday, though
