Re: high velocity bowling (ps3)

If it reminds you of Wii Sports, it must be a poor game. Wii Sports was fun for...maybe an hour or two then it got very old.

Because ATI have been counting longer. nVidia were making video cards before the GeForce series, and started counting from the first GeForce card.

Re: Christina Aguilera is one damn sick fuck

On a serious note, the practice of circumcision was started during a time when people did not have access to good hygiene and would get infected. Unfortunately, poor hygiene still is a problem, and many guys end up having to get circumcised as teenagers because they aren't cleaning themselves well ...

Looks to be a good card when you look at real world benchmarks. Video card makers do all kinds of cheats to make their cards perform better in those canned demos.

Re: Am I being detained?

I'm not a fan of this ever-increasing police prescence. Don't tell me things always have and will be like this. It is escalating. The first police forces were only created in the late eighteenth century amid the French Revolution, etc. This was when we first saw the phenomenon we would call "p...

Re: Big news: Castro resigns!

I'm so glad bush is going to be out of office soon. We have enough trouble keeping track of our government and its problems, not to mention the middle east BS we got ourselves into to even think about Cuba. The blessing or democracy? if any country wants democracy it will fight for it itself. Thats...

The point is to play it on the original hardware on a TV. It's never the same on a computer monitor.

Re: Summer Plans?

Summer is just another part of the year for me. Just part of living in the adult world I guess. Might go to the lake a couple of times, but that's really about it. I'm saving my vacation time for a trip I might get to go on in the fall.

Re: New Genesis + Sega CD game in development

I guess I'm slightly confused on this, but is this the same game just published on two different formats? Because I guess I don't understand why they are putting the money into a Genesis cart (which I imagine has to be quite expensive) when they are also just making a Sega CD version too (which is ...

Does this game ever leave you wishing for something SSBM had? That's the best way I can think of to determine if they have improved the franchise.

Re: Privacy, encryption and kiddie porn

The last time I read about this story, it said that the files were unencrypted at the time the police confiscated the laptop, which means they had been recently accessed and the police could watch the videos. When they got the laptop to the station, they discovered that the files were encrypted.

Not true. Because a vehicle requires a license to operate, a police officer can pull you over at any time to check your license, insurance, inspection etc.

I also noticed some machines don't even have the Windows Updates done due to the absence of IE7. Many IT system admins block the installation of IE7 because it tends to break applications that are designed specifically for IE6 ActiveX. It's all about WinDiz update and firefox anyway. Okay and the p...

Re: NFL Playoffs

From what I've read about the "taping" scandal. Big deal. Like you couldn't hire someone to transcribe those motions instead of video taping. Plus, most teams only play each other once. Sometimes twice depending if they are in the same division or two playoff bound teams meet in the regul...

I've never played the stock market, but I did take corporate finance back in college, and the most important thing in investing is to make sure to have a balanced portfolio. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket, as they say.
