Re: Widescreen mode and kos ?
MSR and Toy Commander have options for widescreen TVs. But I suppose even in widescreen mode, they use 640x480.

I know DCPlaya does play .flv files quite good. You should try that.

Re: "Hello World!" - VMU
It's simply not possible while they're connected. While attached to the DC, the VMU is basically in a 'slave mode' and its processor is running at like 1/4 speed, giving it just enough juice to process the commands being sent to transfer data, manipulate its screen, give you the time, and beep. The...

The Doom engine is so old… Something based on Quake would be way more profitable.
Something like DreamPlaces, Chui's port of DarkPlaces :

Yes, you can use it. I approve.
But it will never run on dreamcast.

Re: Eclipse, Linux, and Dreamcast Dev
Again, what's the point ? It's way easier to just run KOS. You would gain nothing in running linux. And btw, the dreamcast and the pandora PVRs have quite nothing in common. There's a driver yes, but it is designed for the pandora's PVR. Futhermore, it's an ARM binary driver and source is not includ...

Re: DreamShell 4
Ok, I didn't have the latest sdiso in fact
It works now. Damn, that's fast !
By the way, could it be possible to map the GD-Rom to a directory on the SD card, instead of an iso image ?
It would be way easier to add files this way.

Re: DreamShell 4
mkisofs -V %gamename% -joliet -rock -l -o game.iso ./gamedir Does not work here… The green loading screen appears, tries to load the 1ST_READ.BIN, then the console reboots. I do have the latest sdiso file. It fails with either 1ST_READ.BIN scrambled or unscrambled. Am I doing something wrong ?

Hello,
Could you implement the RTC too?
I watched the source files and the RTC is here, but the functions are not called.
Thanks

Try to make a DiscJuggler file (.cdi) instead of a nero file, and burn it with DiscJuggler or Alcohol 120% at 8x maximum.
