New Beats of Rage site hosts all Demo & Full mods.
AlexDC22 has opened up a new BOR site with 40GB+ of hosting space. This means that it will be the only Beats of Rage site to be able to host all the mods ever made for BOR as well as resources, sources, different ports (PSP, X-BOX, Dreamcast, Windows) and a great forum to discuss any modding problem...

Why would you buy a third DS to play this game? You know if you bought a PSP instead of spending all you cash on DS's and 30 games you could play OpenBOR on that too, but with sound, widescreen and the ability to play mods over 30MB. Or better still, why not just play it on your Dreamcast with 4 pla...

4 Player OpenBOR now for X-Box too.
I've updated the X-Box port to include 4 Player support. I've also put links to all the 4-player versions for different formats here. DC and X-Box ports (All v2.0043) DC Normal Version with source (Fast loading) http://openbor.net/openborw/DC4PLAYER-BETA1FAST.zip DC Memory Saving Version with source...

You should prob post at the senile forums or OpenBOR.net if you want modding help. If not, you should post your character .txt file, otherwise there's no way in hell anyone will know why it doesn't work. I would assume you have set your bbox wrong on your player or your attack box wrong on your char...

I'm not quite sure what you mean Vlame. I've already explained how to burn a copy. For more information on Beats of Rage, visit http://www.senileteam.com and for more on OpenBOR visit http://www.openbor.net. Both sites have manuals on how to make your own mod. Seniles site should have some sort of l...

I'm afraid the 4 player version I posted earlier was the memory saving version, which has much longer loading times. Please download the standard version from here: Dreamcast Standard Version http://openbor.net/openborw/DC4PLAYER-BETA1FAST.zip This should cut loading times by about half. The memory ...

You'll have to forgive me if these instructions are a little off, but I haven't burnt much for my DC in the last year as its been 30 miles away at my parents. I only know how to burn for single games per disc at the moment. You will need a program called DIR2BOOT (I got mine from http://imrtechnolog...

Ok, the 4 player version is done now, tested it on my DC and fixed a bug or two, but......... Oh no! I ran out of CD-R's before testing was complete. I need to find a couple of people to test there are no immediate bugs in it (e.g. all 4 pads work, it doesn't crash or freeze) and then I'll release a...

The reason I ask is that before, I released a version of OpenBOR without rumble support and immediately got a bunch of people complaining about the lack of it. I'm not 100% on this yet, I need to verify this tomorrow, but I believe the modifications made to BOR to allow the rumble pack actually brok...

Would you choose 4 Player or Rumble support?
My 4 player code is already done, I have not been able to release the DC port yet as I cannot get port 3 to work, just ports 1,2, & 4. After a quick discussion with Roel, Beats of Rage programmer, its come to my attention that the original Beats of Rage supports all 4 dreamcast pads (though only...

Well I've knocked up some AI code today in my lunch break. I know you all want to play the DC version, but I can't attempt to port to DC until I know the Windows version is good enough. Here is the 4-player Windows version, I'm not going to post on the BORrev main page until i'm happy with it, but a...

Its more my coding ability to be honest. Rather than completely rewrite the AI, I'm extending the current code. Seniles code is pretty good, its more of a case of sitting down and designing a less complex but equally effective system. I check the players exist because I need to use their x/y co-ordi...

AI on BOR works in a couple of ways, but the main code works out which player is the closest. This normally wouldn't be too hard to code, but at the moment if it checks for a player that doesn't exist it will crash, so I have to use some long winded code to check for every possible combination of pl...

4 player is quite possible now. Creating a forth player, a forth set of controls and making him move around the screen and attack people is very easy work, would probably take about 2 hours to do. The main bulk of the work is coding the AI to recognize how many players and which to attack, its quite...

Dude, I've already spoke to Tails about it, I can't start another seperate port of BOR or what would be the point in merging the two ports, there would still be two ports after, my merged one and CGs OpenBOR. The only way you are going to get OpenBOR and DarkBOR features is for CG to add them to Ope...
