There already is! Please do this, original Dreamcast fans are still around, just not posting as much (if at all)!mankrip wrote:There will always be a couple of people interested, but I'm not sure if there's more than that.

Re: So Resident Evil 6... Not Excited?
I played RE2 just the other day... it was at least 12 years since the last time. This time as an older man i played with my son, passing on my knowledge of videogame history.
Guess what? I felt like its still the best in the series. We beat it 4 times, and my son was very excited... he loved it.

Hey DanteJay, always happy to help my fellow Dreamcast brethren. What's your project? Do not get offended, I've been out of the loop for the last 5 years. You can contact me on info _at _clandestinestudio _com Anthony817, Hainrich had personal issues which i didn't want to invade, so i don't know wh...

Re: Holly 3D engine for Dreamcast
hey guys, i'm the same guy over at CubicVR 3D engine forums he worked on a PC game using this engine ... the story is like this: I worked with Heinrich doing the graphics (models/textures) for a 3D platformer demo/game that would come out with the release of Holly3D while he was developing the engin...

GDR motor resurrection?
Hey guys, last night my most memorable Dreamcast died... the one i bought on 9.9.99 and was working better than any other console I've had... anyway, what happened is that the GDR motor died, or something... The lens still moves searching for the tracks but the disk wont spin, it tries at the beginn...

Re: The Ascension Of Vigil
OK, here we go. Once again, please don't consider the quality of the concepts, they're general ideas drawn very quickly. This is the wolf (ex-dog), hes torso is strong with almost human arms, while the back legs are a little disproportionate. http://dcdev.clandestinestudio.com/taov/img/dog02.jpg Kni...

Re: The Ascension Of Vigil
Hold on give me till tomorrow for more information, kinda swamped right now. Dont worry, i just thought that you missed my post :) Exporting to .mdl would be the best method and easiest on me, but if you're more comfortable with ojb I can export them to .mdl, ready for animating... OBJ is just a co...

Re: The Ascension Of Vigil
Sounds good, i'll model and texture the needed models at around 600 polys with 1024X1024 skin that you can reduce later. I can give them to you in .obj ready for rigging and animation... or export them to .mdl. what do you think? I'll need the original models (the ones you need to replace) and a ge...

Re: The Ascension Of Vigil
Hey Tyne, I'm also hunting for modellers. Right now TAoV looks kinda ugly since the replacement models aren't very good; that'll change. I,ve done quite a bit of low-poly modelling for games in the last 8 years including some stuff for Dreamcast ( did this for Holly3D ... this for DCShooter ) anyway...

As soon as i find the time i'll post some more pics!
REZ looks great, i havent seen the 360 remake, but keep in mind that the Dreamcast runs at 640X480... it looks great (screenshots), but its not truly HD.

Re: Dreamcast 2008 HD ** Update 1 **
it looks like a playstation 2 or xbox game big deal. PS2 doesnt output VGA natively, so it can not look as crisp as the Dreamcast does. In other news, i got my component cable for the wii, and it indeed looks much better than with the scart, but it isnt anywhere near the DC+VGA in terms of pixel de...
