Oh and the icons are cool but I don't have a place planned for them yet, except maybe the cartridge icon for the file browser.

Just because someone may know how to help doesn't mean that he should have to. A lot of people have their own projects on the go, and unfortunately, most of the people who could help are busy with other things. Besides, I want a crack at making this thing full speed first. I mean, it would be kinda...

"Notify" isn't working here?

I guess this is the best suited forum for this question. How come when I check "Notify me when a reply is ported" that I never get a notification? I double checked my email address in my profile. It would be nice if I didn't have to keep browsing the forums to see replies to topics in whic...

You don't have to give a percentage back to me, have a beer (or 2)! HAHA, dude, if you only knew. I learned how to program from shaolin monks. It's called drunken style programming. Well, I don't get wasted when I program but I like to stay a little buzzed (it gives me an excuse for bugs too). OK, ...

Thanks for the hefty donation MrOwNeY4mKaOs! I am now WELL over the price of the BBA with a total of $162.50 donated. And if you all recall when I first started this, I will give any money extra back to those who donated based on what each person gave. It'll work like this: Let's say I dedcide to di...

More thanks to Orange_Ribbon, Captain Skyhawk, WillSams! They combined to donate $37.50 last night, bringing the total donated so far to $62.50! All I can say is WOW! So far more than half of the price of the adapter is paid for. Thanks again. Status update: I added an in-game menu. It's only option...

NightHammer wrote:Does that mean we can use existing DSNES roms disks to play (roms are in a roms directory)? Or do the roms have to be in the CD root?
Yes, I'm going to try to implement browsing into sub-directories by the end of this weekend. Right now it only supports in the cd root.

...And I can't think of a single multi-format game for which the SNES had the superior soundtrack. Have you compared the music from Street Fighter II on SNES and Genesis? On Genesis, the voices suck. The music sounds like junk. Maybe it's just me, but everytime I'd play a Genesis game I would cring...

 ALRIGHTY! I just won an auction on ebay for a broadband adapter at a reasonable price of $107.50 including shipping. Thanks to impetus and lavalord who together donated a very appreciated $25 (actually $23.67 because of the fees paypal charged me for recieving these donations). So my part ...

I see - I didn;t realise it would be selectable. Yep, and eventually all SNES controller functions will be totally configurable for those who are StRaNgE. The DC controller is so close to a SNES that I don't see why anyone would want to change the buttons but I'm going to put it in anyways for comp...

az_bont wrote:What's the Select button?
The select button is right on the analog stick. In the next version, the select button will be different depending on what you are using for the SNES D-Pad input: D-Pad or analog. For D-Pad it's right on the analog and for analog, you guessed it, it's right on the D-Pad.

It's fine with me. I'll be releasing a new version very soon. Probably by the end of the week that will have a good handfull of features. Here's what I've done already: * Choose ROM from CD. Supports disk swapping * Toggle bilinear filtering * Toggle auto frame skipping or set skip to be a number be...

The main problem with snes emulators for the DC is that none of them are made from scratch, all are ported from the pc versions. So far I never saw anybody say that they were going to do one like that. I have to wonder if there is anybody out there willing to do such a thing. You have a point. I me...

The SDL Linux port of ZSNES just uses SDL for rendering to the screen. Nearly all of the code is in x86 assembler. That's pretty cool that ZSNES will soon see an XBOX port.

Why don't you set up a PayPal account? For people it is the easiest way to donate to a coder. I'm for once are to lazy to get behind my desk for sending a BBA to someone. Don't run away from GPL. All it really states is that if you use something under the GPL, you must release your source. That's all.
