A MIL-CD is one of two formats of a discs that are capable of booting on the vast majority of Dreamcast systems. The other format is the GD-ROM, which boots on all systems. The format roughly consists of a multisession disc on which the last data track contains a bootsector with bootstrapping code on its first 16 sectors, an ISO9660 filesystem, and a scrambled binary file.
