What's Your Favorite Movie?

Mine would have to be Pulp Fiction. I love the action and the story. Also, my second favorite would have to be Donnie Darko. It's a good thinking movie, and that's always nice.

Fantasia, The Great Dictator, The Royal Tenenbaums

Close runners-up include Eternal Sunshine, Ghostbusters, 12 Monkeys, Young Frankenstein, and Metropolis (the original, not the anime).

I have several favorites...butmy biggest gripe is dealing with people when I go to a theatre; they're very fudging annoying with their talking, chewing popcorn real loud, etc that I very rarely go out to see them anymore. Last One I ventured out to see was Hitch with Will Smith.

I enjoyed both Ghostbusters movies, but actually thought the second was better than the first. And basically with the excpetion of 'what about bob' I generally enjoy most of Bill Murray's old movies.

And even though by most it was hated, I adore the Super Mario Bros movie from 1993, and love Samantha Mathis, who played princess Peach??

2001: A Space Odyssey

What Kubrick and Clarke attempted to do was huge. And they did a great job. The open-endedness of the obelisk allows nearly anyone to make sense of man's past in this film regardless of personal beliefs. Then it skips the present and puts us in the near future, not too far, only a little farther into our Cosmic Infancy. Baby steps. Y'know?

Clarke had the ideas, Kubrick had the grandeur and the visions.

Watch it, but know what you're getting into. Nearly three hours and very little dialogue or traditional plot elements. Some coffee or pot might help just to get you a little shaken out of your normal view. Don't get geeked, however. This movie is incredible, if you want to spend the time giggling, watch Kung Pao.

Batman Begins
Dumb and Dumber

Out of those, I'll choose Signs simply because of the thought and care put into each scene, simple storyline, actual scares, and great acting. And it was the 1st movie to ever actually scare me.

Damn, I keep forgetting to check out fantasia. I must see it soon.

There's no way someone can drink coffee and watch 2001. It's impossible.

Terminator2 hands down. Movie I've seen more times than any other in my entire life.
Ghostbusters. The earliest movie I can remember really liking as a child.
Back to the future. Awesome movie.

King Kong (2005) is actually one of mine, which seems to amaze a lot of people.

12 Angry Men (B/W version) is up there. Also, A Better Tomorrow and The Princess Bride.

I can't really narrow it down to one though.
