Has anyone asked Gamestop or EB Games or other Major Retail Gamestores for shelf space for this magazine. I would ask the home shopping network if there interested. They take a lot of odd and ends ideas and sell them on the T.V. show and Website. If you want a lot people to know about DreamON, you have to leave the internet forums. All it takes is phone calls, the worst you get is a "NO".

I have thought of this, yes. However, it's not possible until the magazine is printed.

I'm not going into any further details, as I don't want to get any hopes up. Let's just leave it at that.

Hey MetaFox,
I have talked to my local game store (gamestop) of who I am on good terms with. I should be able to get some of them sold there, it just has to be run by the district manage,r of whom the store owner is really close with, about the specifics about the mag. Of course I would have to make an offer on a profiet the store can make on the magazine. So im wondering if you could cut a deal if I order the magazine in bulk? I have to return a call within the week about the offer. So if you can do anything for me, please PM me or post something.

Yeah some people on anothe rforum want a scan or something which i know is not good as you don't have it printed yet but anything like a preview to prove to people aboout the zine

There's now over 50 preorders. At this point the quality of the demo discs is locked (meaning they are going to be professionally pressed). I'm going to get them made up shortly.

Things are looking good so far. Keep those preorders up, and a newsstand quality magazine release will be out in no time.

I'm aiming for the beginning of December. Though it'll more than likely be the middle of December.

It all depends on when the deciding preorder comes in, and how long it takes to get the magazine printed.

i would say, yes, like all homebrew it will be region free. but that does not mean that it will play on all dcs. (if you have a pal you should be ok)

As a sidenote, the preorders just hit 70 today.

I think it's safe to say now that the magazine WILL be newsstand quality. I also have to say 70 preorders in 13 days is pretty impressive for such a niche product as a Dreamcast magazine. I'm glad I was wrong about the interest in this project.
