Re: Superbad
Honestly it is the best comedy I have seen this year, and me and my fiance see at least 2 new movies a week so I see a lot of movies over the year coarse of a year.
McLovin and the cops might be the best buddy comedy team ever.

Re: Superbad
I saw the preview, and I though it looked pretty funny.
Guess I'll have to go check it out.

I got really drunk watching it, but it was damn good.
Weird feeling not seeing him called George-Michael.

I absolutly loved it. Some fag at my work said it sucked because it some how insults homsexuals. Maybe its just me but, I didn't catch anything insulting queers at all. Did you?

Re: Superbad
The ads don't look very appealing, but I've heard good things. Wasn't this done by the same folks who made The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up?
Re: Superbad
Yes. For what it is worth, it's actually quite good. It's also refreshing to see a movie about high school kids where the actors ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE they are of high school age.DaMadFiddler wrote:The ads don't look very appealing, but I've heard good things. Re: Superbad
I thought it confronted the undeniable and strange homosexual undercurrents of an adolescent male relationship pretty boldly. With that last scene, y'know? A lot of people on the way out of the theatre said it was "gay." I don't see how thats insulting.RMD wrote:I absolutly loved it. I went to see it at an employees' premiere thing at the local theatre. We were all getting smashed in the theatre and smoking joints right outside the door. It was a great night.
Where's toastman? I'm bored.

Re: Superbad
Michael Cera (Evan) is 19 and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fogell) was in high school when they filmed it, so they actually were of high school age. Which, I agree, is quite refreshing.Lartrak wrote:Yes. For what it is worth, it's actually quite good. Re: Superbad
Indeed. As a 24-year-old who works in a high school setting, it gets really old seeing movies and TV shows set in high school where the students look like they're older than I am|darc| wrote:Michael Cera (Evan) is 19 and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fogell) was in high school when they filmed it, so they actually were of high school age.
