Thanks, man. That means a lot to me. >= ) ::looks over at stars with silent content:: I@N rocks and I am going to be the first to say that he probably knows more about electronics than anyone else here. TheDumbAss deserves a hell of a lot respect, too. As far as Bobs Shadow goes... well... to be honest, I'm not sure if he's alive anymore. He has 39 posts on his account, and that value hasn't changed in ages.

Anyway, thanks for the compliment! I can't wait to go on a banning / deleting spree!
hey!!!
i never went on a banning spree, i never had that power.

Im gonna write a DCEmu History Book. It will contain page after page filled with Biographies of Forum Members. If you want to be in the Book, Just PM me with all the info you want included.

And I started here around early summer 2001. Anything insane that happened before then, Let me know in a PM.
any progress?

Many have discouraged me in doing it so I'm delayed...I was thinking on making a website dedicated to "The History of DCEmu" with stuff like Glort, etc.

You should mention the whole "John Henderson" scandal though...

Now THOSE were some pretty risque times! The rebellion against 007, the deletion of all the mods and the posting of a FAKE N64 emulator on the front page used to promote the site!

8) I should be a TV executive... this stuff is GOLD, Man....

EDIT: Just noticed that the board still automatically adds "= plonker" whenever you type JH's name! Thank you, Dr Z! lol

Dont forget every time they supposedly "upgraded" the forums and fudged everything up.

"DCEmu Forums Down AGAIN....Cheatah is trying to fix it (LIES), although Sintex will end up being the one who does all the damn work"

While I haven't been here as long as most, I must say the old times were much better than today. The old times made me visit this forum constantly to see what was happening. IRC had good times......

Yeah. I can't believe I forgot to mention, over all of these years, that I did finish the book. It's hardbound leather, and it's written in Zull's blood. There's only one copy, so I'll have to start the bidding at $300.

I kind of agree. It saddens me that all the threads in OT and Gaming these days are just "discuss this link" or "solve my problem". Theres never any new "Post your top/saddest/favourite/worst <whatever>" threads, or social threads, or forums games anymore.

But then when I go see forums that do have that sort of stuff, I feel like they are really immature and silly. Have we all grown out of all that stuff, or has the lack of young blood meant this forum now has no room for anything between serious discussion and null-worthy?

It's a shame really
