WTB: Leapfrog Computer

Yeah, you read it right, I want to buy a Leapfrog computer -- for my mother. After 10 minutes trying to explain how for her to get on Google maps, she still screwed up. Then I had to do it and then explain what to type to get the map and she didn't understand that either.

"Mom, are you retarded?" "I'm getting you a Leapfrog computer for Christmas, do you think you can handle that?"

So yeah, anyone here have a little brother or sister that has one and doesn't play with it anymore and wants to sell it to me? It's just a joke present so I don't want to buy a new one unless needed. Thanks.

Well, since I have kids, "Leapfrog" is a brand name for a variety of electronic devices to help little kids on the path to learning how to read and do basic math. With their more simple devices, you buy books that come with little cartridges. These plug into the unit, and a pressure sensitive pen is used to navigate the book. My son has one of those. There are more complicated ones that are bascially electronic hand held devices with educational video games, etc.

bah, I know the troubles of trying to show my parents how to use a computer, the delimas I had trying to show my mom how to send an email, and when i tried to simple it down for she said not to talk to her like a "child"

good luck on finding one try ebay, if you succeed that would be the best ownage ever, seeing my parents are very arogrant and ignorant they would probally kick me out if I did something like that.

I know what you mean, i got yelled at for trying to simple down everything aswell, my mom thought i was talking like she was stupid. I talked about a special mouse that certain people use to get started as she has trouble using a mouse, and i got yelled at, so never would i buy a leapfrog in fear of getting yelled at and never looked at the same way lol, although it wouldnt go to waste cause my 6 year old sister would use it...
