.... I slit my wrists.......
but didn't die!
For those of you that think this is a suicide post/topic... noooo it isn't at all. I just had to inform some people that this past weekend at Target (where I work overnight), I came in contact with a falling knife, which just happened to slit my right wrist vertically, and pretty deep.
This was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life, fully knowing if you want to kill yourself (and lose a ton of blood) that you should cut vertically. Well, I can say that LOTS of blood does come out, and you are rendered unconscious about 30 seconds (what seemed like an eternity) after the initial cut.
Anyways, Target fully covered the medical bills, as they are threatened that I might sue (I don't believe I will, as it was partial fault on both my part and the companies').
The amount of blood, and how fast it comes out is staggering... I don't reccommend it to anybody if they wanted to kill themself. Overall I believe I will be left with a large scar, and have explaining to do that I didnt try to kill myself, etc.
*sigh*
... just had to share that for some reason... if better in Null... wooohooo, but OT is a good place for this

Yeah, this happened to one of my dad's workers about 3 years ago. This huge Brazilian guy and this skinny white dude were carrying a large sheetmetal fireplace part down the stairs and the side of the sheetmetal clipped the Brazilian dude's arm and sliced right through, vertically. Blood was everywhere and we had to call an ambulance immediately.
It's thinking...
