there is no such thing as too many firewalls, just like there is no such thing as too much disk space, sure i may only really need 160 gb, but if i were to have 160tb or so, it wouldnt be to much

one firewall is enough, but there is no such thing as too many firewalls

I have two firewalls, one that blocks specific IP's and IP ranges via Protowall + Blocklist Manager and Sygate Personal Firewall. While Sygate could do both, there hasn't been a utility to make some type of IP Banlist type manager for it.

Err, actually yeah you really can have too many firewalls. It's just common sense.

Depending on how you set your firewalls up, and if you're not a complete asshat, then two firewalls (much like ragnarok's) is fine. Although it's more than likely that you're good with one, unless someone's out to get you...

The RIAA, FBI, MPAA, stalker, family, CIA, Bush, the "man," police, hackers, phreakers, and the voices in your head are all possible suspects. OMG, the walls have EARS.

The only attacks I'm 'scared' of getting on my computer are script kiddys, and to be honest I'd be safe with just regularly patching all of my software / OS and having up to date anti-virus software.
