Ive linked to the archive many times before. It's been going since 1996 and just caches websites, pretty much like google but rather than update stuff it just stores it.
I think it was originally created for legal purposes, but its now quite amusing. Check out sites like bbc.co.uk ign.com and gamefaqs.com back in 1996 they're...odd
