Ive linked to the archive many times before. It's been going since 1996 and just caches websites, pretty much like google but rather than update stuff it just stores it.
I think it was originally created for legal purposes, but its now quite amusing. Check out sites like bbc.co.uk ign.com and gamefaqs.com back in 1996 they're...odd

i remember when segasages.com was still separate from IGN.com...
When you could go to eBay and buy CDs full of ROMs for dirt cheap... those where the days

Yeah... old webpages were so primitive, yet so nice and unbloated.
